The Job Center provides no cost employer services to help local businesses and agencies find quality applicants for their vacant positions.

We offer the following free employer services to local businesses and agencies.

Free 30 Day Job Posting

If you need to fill an employment vacancy, you can advertise with us for free. We will provide you with a free employer account that gives you access to our online employment service. You can then post and remove job announcements at your discretion. If you would like to post a job, please contact us by phone or email.

Career Day Participation

(May 3, 2007) – Join 75 employers at this annual event. Participation is free and first come first served booth reservations. Your business contact information will be published in our Career Day program and you will be provided with an event table, table skirt and curtain backdrop. You get to meet with hundreds of students who are training in various technical certifications and degree programs. Find your next star employee at this career exploration event. 65% Wage Reimbursement Work Study Programs

This is a financial aid based program designed to provide students with academic or career relevant employment experience. Employers get the opportunity to hire a quality student and receive a 65% reimbursement of wages up to 19 hours a week. At the same time the student benefits from academic or career related experience and hourly wages. Contact our office by phone or email for a work study information packet.

Applicant Screening and Referral

Employers provide the employment opportunity and job description and our staff will screen and refer quality applicants. This gives employers a chance to interview a more qualified applicant pool.
